Six essays on the Pentagon Physics programme — what the constants really are, what a fair benchmark looks like, a systematic adversarial stress test of the framework, a synthetic account of how spacetime itself emerges from the axiom, why the measurements we trust are shadows of deeper geometric objects, and why the neutron is in another dimension from the proton.
On the constants
The Emperor's New Constants
Why E = mc² and 1/137 are models, and what lies beneath them.
A century after Wigner asked why mathematics is so unreasonably effective in physics, the answer turns out to be that physics has been measuring the customer first and visiting the cupboard for clothes that fit. This essay strips the famous equations and shows the relational structure underneath.
On evaluation
The Emperor's New Benchmark
A note to be read before evaluating any paper in the Pentagon Physics programme.
The Lagrangian is a consequence, not a credential. This essay sets out the appropriate benchmark for a derivational physics programme — pre-registered predictions, kill conditions, ablation tests, and the asymmetry between answering a question and declining to address it.
Adversarial review
The Hostile Referee
A systematic stress test of Pentagon Physics.
Eighteen adversarial tests applied to the programme — nuclear mass completeness, the positive-eigenvalue rule, the alpha formula uniqueness, the bridge line, fuzzy dark matter tension, and pre-registered predictions. Five resolved cleanly, eight require more work, three present near-term kill conditions.
On spacetime
Spacetime Does Not Exist In Advance
The numbers we measure today are fossils of the pre-Big Bang structure.
Space is not given. Time is not given. Both emerge from the thinning and iteration of a single self-referential equation. This essay walks through the full architecture — from the axiom through coherence, phase transitions, the proton, light, the arrow of time, and the oscillatory cosmology — showing how 3+1 dimensional spacetime is a consequence, not a starting point.
On structure
The Neutron Is in Another Dimension
You are a creature of 8D architecture.
The E₈ root system decomposes into two 600-cells in orthogonal four-dimensional subspaces. The proton is a standing wave on one. The neutron is a standing wave on the other. They are not next to each other — they are perpendicular. The only structure connecting them is the 24-vertex D₄ bridge. That bridge is the nuclear force.

Has Physics Been Reading Shadows?
For three centuries, physics has mistaken its measurements for the world.
E = mc², entanglement, wave-particle duality, and the measurement problem are four readings of one geometric fact: a four-dimensional object projected into three dimensions. The shadows are correct. They were never the point.
